Triangles G10
What is one common thing between a right-angled triangle and an isosceles triangle? Both of these figures are triangles! The concept of similarity deals with the physical appearance of any figure. If both the figures/shapes look same, although one has a comparatively larger area than the other, then the figures are called as similar structures. In this concept, we are only concerned with physical appearance, and we do not deal with the detailed structural analysis or measurement. In mathematics, an entire field is dedicated to finding out whether the triangles are similar or not. There are different methods to do that, watch the videos to learn about them.
