Sequences And Series G11

The population of human beings or other animals at different times form a sequence. The amount of money deposited in a bank in a given period, form a sequence. The number of even numbers between 1 and 100 forms a sequence. And like this, sequences find use in various spheres of mathematics, science, economics, demography, etc. In this chapter, we will be learning the basics of sequences and their examples, arithmetic and geometric progression, and the basics of series. Everything covered in this course is a part of the GMAT/ GRE/ CAT syllabi as well.
